Data Specialist - Imaging

Job Summary

To support the UPP Radiology team, the full-time Data Specialist - Imaging will maintain accurate physician data, facilitate communications for Radiologists, and manage imaging reports in a fully remote overnight position with a set schedule from Thursday to Saturday, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Key responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate physician data in the Radiology Information system for report distribution
• Review and run reports to check for exams without dictation and communicate findings to Radiologists
• Act as a liaison between departments to acquire patient information and support imaging operations

Required qualifications:

• High school diploma with college courses in a related field or 3+ years of work-related experience
• Understanding of medical terminology from previous work-related experience
• Working knowledge of software applications applicable to database management
• Analytical and database management ability to evaluate and maintain data systems
• Preferred experience in an imaging department or as a Registered Technologist
