Data Standardization Specialist
Job Summary
To support the Defense Logistics Agency program remotely, the full-time salaried Data Standardization Specialist will provide technical support in evaluating data elements, codes, and business rules while ensuring clarity and accuracy in data definitions.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate proposed data elements and their attributes to ensure technical correctness
- Collect business and data requirements, developing data strategies and associated policies
- Implement capabilities to meet business information needs effectively
Required qualifications
- Ten (10) years of experience in a relevant field, particularly in reviewing and coordinating policies and data elements for the Department of War (DoW)
- Experience with standards and technologies such as ASC X12, data warehousing, and SQL
- Extensive experience representing DoW interests in the ASC X12 data standards management process
- Must possess IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 3
- Preferred experience with Onestream and DLA
