Data Team Lead

Job Summary

Leading the Data team in a fully remote capacity, the Data Team Lead will own the data architecture, define data modeling standards, and present data-driven recommendations to the executive team while mentoring team members and ensuring data quality and governance.

Key responsibilities:

• Own the end-to-end data architecture and set its technical direction, including pipelines and reporting
• Lead the Data team by establishing priorities, developing team members, and enforcing data quality standards
• Act as the main point of contact for data needs across the company, translating requirements into actionable data strategies

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Computer Science, Data Science, or Engineering
• Excellent SQL skills and strong knowledge of modern analytical data stacks
• Proficiency with cloud data warehouses, ideally BigQuery and Google Cloud, along with dbt/Dataform
• Proven leadership experience in managing data functions or teams
• Strong understanding of e-commerce metrics and the ability to translate data into business decisions
