Database Administrator

Job Summary

To support the TSA STAR contract, the full-time Database Administrator will manage and maintain the reliability, integrity, security, and performance of a business intelligence application's data layer, primarily utilizing Microsoft Power Platform and Microsoft SQL Server, in a remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and support the application's Dataverse data layer, ensuring data quality and security in collaboration with the Power Platform team
• Design and maintain data models and processes for operational reporting and visualization, including troubleshooting data load issues
• Evaluate SQL Server backend options and oversee database migration planning and execution, including monitoring and performance tuning

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with production databases and enterprise data platforms, including relational data modeling and performance optimization
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL, including queries, views, and backup/recovery concepts
• Practical experience with Microsoft Power Platform, particularly Dataverse and its integration with Power BI
• Bachelor's Degree or better in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Management Information Systems
• Ability to satisfy TSA personnel vetting and access requirements for this position
