Job Summary
To support the VA ICAM IOSS project, the remote Database Administrator with Clearance will design and manage database schemas, develop data models, and ensure database performance and reliability while participating in disaster recovery testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and manage database schemas supporting identity management platforms
- Develop and maintain data models aligned with application and business requirements
- Monitor database performance and implement tuning and optimization strategies
Required Qualifications
- Active Secret clearance is required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
- Experience in database administration and data management
- Proficiency in data modeling and database schema design
- Knowledge of IT disaster recovery processes and testing
