To support database operations, the full-time hybrid Database Administrator with OCI Expertise will manage Oracle, MySQL, and MariaDB databases, focusing on performance tuning, backup and disaster recovery solutions, and automation of administrative tasks.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage database performance tuning and optimization for Oracle, MySQL, and MariaDB environments
- Design and deploy backup, restore, and disaster recovery solutions using enterprise platforms
- Automate routine database administration tasks utilizing tools like Jenkins, Ansible, and Azure DevOps
Required qualifications:
- Master's degree in an IT-related or Engineering field
- 12+ years of experience in database administration for Oracle, MySQL, and MariaDB
- Expertise in database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery architecture
- Proven experience with AWS database solutions, including EC2, RDS, and Aurora
- Oracle certification is preferred
