Database Architect
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Database Architect to design and optimize cloud-native databases and data models.
Key Responsibilities
- Design scalable cloud data models and database architectures that meet business and mission needs
- Develop and maintain automated deployment and monitoring code for cloud database infrastructure
- Lead or contribute to data and database migration from legacy on-premises systems to Azure or AWS cloud platforms
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with database deployment, configuration, and performance optimization
- 3+ years of experience migrating databases and data from on-premises environments to Azure and/or AWS
- Experience with cloud and traditional relational databases, including Azure SQL and AWS RDS/Aurora
- Experience with cloud-based data analytics platforms such as Azure Synapse and SQL Data Warehouse
- Proficiency in implementing automated database deployment and monitoring solutions
