Providing SME-level leadership for enterprise database architecture, the full-time remote Database Architect will guide the design and operation of Microsoft SQL Server environments, resolve complex technical issues, and collaborate with various stakeholders to support mission operations and data analysis.
Key responsibilities
- Lead enterprise database architecture and technical operations across assigned environments
- Establish database design, configuration, administration, monitoring, security, and documentation standards
- Oversee database performance monitoring, capacity planning, and recovery readiness
Required qualifications
- Active Secret clearance or higher
- Minimum of 12 years of relevant professional experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, database management, or a related field
- Experience with enterprise database architecture and Microsoft SQL Server
- Experience implementing or supporting database high availability and security
