Job Summary
A company is looking for a Database Architect.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and optimize database schema and performance for security, availability, and scalability
- Implement database security best practices and compliance policies
- Develop and maintain backup, replication, and disaster recovery strategies
Required Qualifications
- 7-9 years of database administration experience in a SaaS environment
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Expertise in MariaDB/MySQL on Amazon RDS and/or Google Cloud SQL, and ElasticSearch
- Experience with database security, backup and recovery, and performance tuning
- Familiarity with automation and infrastructure scripting using Python, Bash, or Terraform
