Database Developer
Job Summary
To support the DoD enterprise Military Housing system, the full-time Database Developer will design, develop, and optimize PL/SQL-based database solutions while maintaining data accessibility and performance, with the flexibility to work remotely from Vienna, VA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, optimize, and maintain PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and views for enterprise applications
- Analyze and enhance existing database modules to ensure optimal performance and compliance with project requirements
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration between Oracle database operations and application requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field with a minimum of 5+ years of relevant professional experience in database development
- CompTIA Security+ Certification
- Working knowledge and experience with Oracle DB, PL/SQL, and SQL
- Demonstrated expertise in designing and managing Oracle packages, procedures, triggers, indexes, and functions
- Understanding of database security best practices and Agile software development
