Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Database Developer, the full-time remote position will design, develop, and execute data migration solutions from various source systems into enterprise applications, utilizing strong SQL and scripting skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze source database schemas and map data structures to target schemas, identifying inconsistencies and migration challenges
- Develop and maintain SQL queries, scripts, and ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading across different platforms
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools to enhance data mapping, transformation, and migration processes, ensuring data security compliance
Required Qualifications
- 4-7 years of hands-on experience in database development, data migration, ETL, or data integration
- Strong proficiency in SQL, including complex joins, subqueries, and query optimization, with practical experience in PostgreSQL
- Experience with at least two other database systems, such as SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, or legacy databases
- Hands-on experience developing data transformation and migration scripts using Python and SQL
- Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools and the ability to evaluate and correct AI-generated code
