Database Lead
Job Summary
Managing the SQL Developer team, the full-time Database Lead will oversee daily operations, provide mentorship, and actively design and optimize SQL Server database solutions while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Directly manage and prioritize work for the SQL Developer team, including performance management and technical guidance
- Design scalable SQL Server database architectures and develop data models for custom applications
- Monitor and tune database performance, ensuring data integrity and supporting ERP modules data replication
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of professional experience in application and database development with relational databases
- Strong SQL and T-SQL skills, including experience with Microsoft SQL Server (2014-2022)
- Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
- Prior experience leading or mentoring developers in a hands-on capacity
