Database Reliability Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Database Reliability Engineer III.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize CloudSQL and MongoDB environments for performance, reliability, and cost
- Implement data lifecycle and governance practices, including pruning and retention policies
- Contribute to infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD workflows for database operations
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience with relational databases, including cloud-managed services
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with MongoDB, focusing on performance tuning and governance
- Experience in cloud-native environments, preferably GCP, and familiarity with Terraform
- Proficiency in Python or another general-purpose language for scripting and automation
- Experience implementing CI/CD workflows for database changes and familiarity with Git-based deployment
