Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Databricks Apps Developer will build and ship applications with React front ends, enabling business users to discover and utilize governed data products while collaborating closely with UX/UI designers and data engineers.
Key responsibilities
- Build and ship Databricks applications with React front ends for data discovery
- Develop backend services and APIs to connect applications to Databricks resources
- Own CI/CD processes and monitor application performance and operational runbooks
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, particularly in React and TypeScript
- Experience building APIs using modern programming languages like TypeScript and Python
- Strong SQL skills and familiarity with data schemas and query performance
- Proven experience in shipping applications end-to-end, including CI/CD and production support
- Ability to work with representative data and design for seamless transitions to production sources
