Databricks Architect
Job Summary
To support a dynamic team, the remote Databricks Architect will leverage extensive experience in data engineering and analytics to deliver end-to-end Databricks implementations while collaborating with clients in the banking sector for a duration of 8-12 months.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver end-to-end Databricks implementations, serving as a hands-on developer or technical lead
- Design and implement cloud-native data platforms across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP
- Develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks, Delta Lake, and modern data engineering frameworks
Required qualifications
- 12-15+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Platforms, and Data Analytics
- 10+ years of consulting and client-facing delivery experience
- Databricks Data Engineering Professional certification or equivalent
- Strong expertise in Apache Spark and performance optimization
- Experience with DevOps and CI/CD practices for data solutions
