Databricks Data Engineer
Job Summary
With a focus on delivering data solutions, the contract Databricks Data Engineer will work remotely for a duration of 12+ months, leveraging expertise in Databricks, PySpark, and cloud ecosystems to develop and optimize data platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement data solutions on the Databricks platform, ensuring high performance and scalability
- Collaborate on multiple projects, applying deep expertise in distributed computing and MLOps
- Utilize CI/CD practices for production deployments while maintaining current knowledge of Databricks product features
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in data engineering, data platforms, and analytics
- Completed Data Engineering Professional certification and required coursework
- Hands-on experience with at least 6-8 projects delivered on Databricks
- Proficient in at least one major cloud ecosystem (AWS, Azure, GCP) with working knowledge of others
- Deep experience with Spark and familiarity with its runtime internals
