Databricks Developer
Job Summary
To support the modernization of IRS legacy Tax processing systems, the fully remote Databricks Developer will design, develop, and implement robust solutions while leveraging Databricks, AWS, Python, and SQL, and may supervise a team of engineers to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Key responsibilities:
- Gathering, assessing, and interpreting complex data to inform development approaches and prototyping solutions
- Conducting thorough application tests and code reviews to ensure efficient debugging, testing, and code improvement
- Responding promptly to problem reports and code errors, delivering updated software solutions to address identified issues
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of experience
- US Citizenship required
- Active IRS MBI Clearance and current GFE
- Proficiency with Databricks and AWS
- Experience working on an Agile team with a strong understanding of agile methodologies
