Job Summary
Seeking a remote Databricks Infrastructure Engineer, this full-time position will manage and optimize Databricks environments, implement infrastructure automation, and support cloud-based data operations for analytics and machine learning initiatives.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and maintain Databricks platform infrastructure for enterprise data engineering and analytics
- Develop and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and manage CI/CD pipelines for Databricks deployments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot infrastructure issues and optimize cloud platform performance
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in cloud data platform engineering or Databricks platform management
- Strong hands-on experience with Databricks environments, including clusters and SQL warehouses
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
