Job Summary
Supporting the design and administration of enterprise cloud data infrastructure, the remote Databricks Infrastructure Engineer will manage Databricks environments, implement infrastructure automation, and optimize data pipelines while ensuring secure and reliable cloud operations.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and maintain Databricks platform infrastructure for data engineering and analytics workloads
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and implement CI/CD pipelines for Databricks
- Monitor platform performance and troubleshoot infrastructure issues across Databricks environments
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
- 3+ years of experience in cloud data platform engineering or Databricks platform management
- Strong hands-on experience administering Databricks environments, including clusters and SQL warehouses
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform
- Proficiency with Python, SQL, and scripting for infrastructure automation
