Datadog Observability Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a part-time Datadog Observability Engineer, this remote position will manage the design, implementation, and operation of enterprise-grade observability solutions on the Datadog platform, focusing on healthcare environments and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain end-to-end observability solutions using Datadog across cloud and on-premises environments
- Build and maintain dashboards, SLOs, and alerting policies to enhance operational efficiency for on-call teams
- Implement observability for healthcare applications, ensuring uptime, data integrity, and compliance with HIPAA regulations
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in observability, DevOps, SRE, or systems engineering with hands-on Datadog expertise
- Experience monitoring healthcare applications and infrastructure in HIPAA-regulated environments
- Familiarity with Tanium or similar endpoint management platforms
- Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerized environments
- Proficiency with Terraform and scripting for automation and configuration-as-code
