Job Summary
Working remotely on a contract basis, the DataOps Quality Engineer will design, build, and execute automated quality engineering solutions for validating data pipelines, APIs, and Databricks-based architectures within the Healthcare and Life Sciences sector.
Key responsibilities
- Design and execute automated quality engineering tests for data pipelines, APIs, and Databricks-based data processing solutions
- Develop reusable automation frameworks using Python and Pytest for SQL-based source-to-target reconciliations and data-quality validations
- Integrate automated test suites into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines to support continuous regression, integration, and API testing
Required qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor's of Engineering Degree
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Test Automation and Data/ETL Quality Engineering
- 5+ years of experience with Python, Pytest, and writing advanced SQL queries
- 5+ years of experience testing Databricks data processing workloads and APIs
- Proven ability to validate large-volume datasets and complex transformation rules
