DC Licensed Therapist
Job Summary
To support a growing practice, the fully licensed DC Licensed Therapist will provide individual telehealth therapy to LGBTQIA+ clients on a remote contract basis, focusing on affirming, trauma-informed, evidence-based care while maintaining flexible scheduling and a minimum commitment of 10 sessions per week.
Key responsibilities
- Provide individual (1-1) therapy in a telehealth setting, delivering tailored treatment to LGBTQIA+ clients
- Conduct clinical assessments and maintain timely, HIPAA-compliant documentation in the EMR system
- Participate in regular clinical supervision to support professional development toward full independent licensure
Required qualifications
- Active DC license as an LCSW, LCPC, or LCMFT
- Experience and a strong passion for working with LGBTQIA+ clients
- Cultural competence in delivering affirming, identity-centered care
- Comfort with providing individual therapy in a telehealth setting
- Able to commit to a minimum of 10 sessions per week with flexible scheduling
