Job Summary
Bringing debate to life for students, the part-time Debate Class Coach will lead weekly classes, provide written homework feedback, and complete student evaluations in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead 60 or 90-minute debate classes capped at 10 students for 10- or 14-week terms
- Provide written feedback on homework assignments and conduct student evaluations
- Develop curriculum and lesson materials, and support coach training and mentorship
Required qualifications
- Coaching, teaching, or mentoring experience in an educational setting
- Experience with a debate format such as Public Forum, Policy, or Lincoln Douglas
- Consistent availability during after-school hours
