Defense Proposal Leader

Job Summary

Leading a team of application engineers, the full-time remote Defense Technical Solutions Proposal Leader will provide technical leadership across the sales project lifecycle for defense-focused programs, ensuring compliance with mission requirements and performance objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the development and execution of technical solutions for marine platforms and military electrification projects
• Act as the primary technical interface with defense customers and prime contractors, managing customer engagement and technical reviews
• Balance hands-on technical involvement with leadership duties, including resource planning and capability development for long-term technology roadmaps

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a closely related technical discipline
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive engineering experience in application engineering or power systems supporting complex programs
• At least 2 years of experience leading technical teams and managing project execution
• Demonstrated experience with defense or government-funded programs, including customer interaction
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
