Delaware Licensed Collections Specialist

Job Summary

To support a growing collections team, the full-time Delaware Licensed Collections Specialist will manage a portfolio of delinquent accounts, initiate contact with debtors, and provide exceptional customer service while working in a hybrid model after an initial training period.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of assigned delinquent accounts and initiate contact with debtors through various communication methods
• Document all collection activities in compliance with client standards and Federal Regulations
• Utilize skip tracing techniques to locate debtors and provide accurate information while addressing their concerns

Required qualifications

• Must possess a Delaware collections license upon placement
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in business or related fields is preferred
• 0-1 years of experience in collections or customer service roles, preferably in a financial environment
• Basic computing skills and proficiency in using collections software and CRM systems
• Ability to handle difficult conversations and maintain professionalism in challenging situations
