Dental Benefits Verification Specialist

Job Summary

To support a growing pediatric practice, the full-time remote Dental Benefits Verification Specialist will ensure accurate and timely verification of insurance benefits, collaborating with various departments to enhance patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Compile and verify dental insurance benefit and eligibility information within required timeframes
• Accurately enter verification details into practice management software, including coverage restrictions and deductibles
• Maintain a system for both initial and subsequent verification of benefits, preparing daily reports of verification activities

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience with account audits in a fast-paced dental practice
• Proficiency in one or more dental software systems (e.g., Open Dental, Eaglesoft, Dentrix)
• Intermediate experience in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Experience in dental offices or insurance verification preferred
