Dental Billing Specialist

Job Summary

To support a growing orthodontic practice, the full-time Dental Billing Specialist will manage the complete lifecycle of dental insurance billing, including claim submission, follow-up, and resolution, in a remote or hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Submit clean and accurate dental insurance claims using correct CDT codes
• Track and follow up on outstanding claims to ensure timely payment
• Identify and resolve root causes of claim denials efficiently

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of dental insurance billing experience
• Strong knowledge of CDT codes and insurance claim workflows
• Experience with Medicaid dental billing preferred
• Proven ability to reduce denials and manage claim follow-ups
• Experience with billing or practice management software
