Dental Health IT Analyst
Job Summary
Supporting the Indian Health Service's Modernized Electronic Health Record system, the remote Health IT Analyst - Dental will manage the configuration and optimization of Dentrix and Cerner Millennium solutions, ensuring alignment with best practices and regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert in the Dentrix application, focusing on build, design, and integration with Cerner Millennium
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design and validate dental workflows and configurations for documentation and billing
- Participate in governance activities and provide assessments for change requests in accordance with IHS standards
Required qualifications
- Advanced expertise in Dentrix and Oracle Health Cerner Millennium with experience in billing and patient accounting solutions
- Completion of at least one full life-cycle Oracle Health (Cerner) EHR implementation with a dental solution
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Public Health, Pharmacy, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant healthcare experience in EHR build or configuration roles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Teams, SharePoint, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio
