Job Summary

Providing strategic and operational leadership, the full-time Department Head of Learning Studies will guide faculty and programs, oversee faculty success initiatives, and contribute to curriculum development in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collaboratively create a vision for the department and support faculty in achieving their goals
• Oversee faculty scheduling, contracts, and performance evaluations while ensuring effective curriculum delivery
• Lead initiatives focused on enhancing student learning outcomes and faculty development

Required qualifications

• Earned doctorate degree in a relevant discipline
• Experience in academic leadership, including faculty development and curriculum oversight
• Proven ability to lead strategic planning and implementation in academic programs
• Familiarity with best practices in teaching and learning, particularly in online environments
• Demonstrated capacity to mentor faculty and foster continuous improvement in educational practices
