Deployment and Release Manager

Job Summary

To support a growing DevSecOps initiative, the remote contract Deployment and Release Manager will manage the orchestration, automation, and security of the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring efficient daily deployments and governance of feature releases.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee the automation of the CI/CD pipeline, enforcing a multi-stage gated process to eliminate "Staging Drift.
• Implement automated security scans and validation profiles to ensure production stability and enable instant rollback capabilities
• Generate and present reports on daily releases to business stakeholders, maintaining operational focus on deployment governance

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field
• 5 to 7+ years of experience in orchestrating and automating CI/CD pipelines with daily releases
• Hands-on experience with Azure App Configuration and feature flags for code deployment
• Proficiency in managing automated security scans and performance testing in Azure environments
• Ability to pass a Federal Government background check
