Deputy Chief Compliance Officer

Job Summary

Supporting the establishment of Builders Bank, the full-time salaried Deputy Chief Compliance Officer will manage the design and implementation of the compliance management system and BSA/AML program, ensuring adherence to OCC standards while executing daily compliance operations.

Key responsibilities

• Support the CCO/BSA Officer in establishing and maintaining the trust bank's Compliance Management System, including policies, procedures, and training
• Oversee compliance operations related to transaction monitoring, alert review, and SAR investigation support
• Assist with OCC examination preparation and ensure compliance with regulatory change management

Required qualifications

• 7+ years in compliance, BSA/AML, or regulatory compliance at a federally supervised financial institution
• Strong knowledge of BSA/AML program requirements and compliance management systems
• Experience supporting compliance programs subject to OCC or similar regulatory examinations
• Familiarity with digital asset AML risks and blockchain analytics
• Ability to operate independently while maintaining compliance function independence from business objectives
