Deputy Program Manager
Job Summary
Supporting a high-impact federal contract, the full-time salaried Deputy Program Manager will oversee daily operations across multiple Agile delivery teams, serve as a liaison between client stakeholders and teams, and ensure delivery excellence while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities
- Manage daily operations for assigned program areas and translate strategic goals into actionable plans
- Support Agile teams in defining scope, sprint priorities, and delivery objectives while tracking program health metrics
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders and prepare program summaries and performance reports
Required qualifications
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance
- PMP certification
- 5+ years of experience in program or project management within large-scale federal contracts
- Proven experience leading Agile software delivery or DevOps teams
- Strong knowledge of federal budget and procurement processes
