Deputy Project Manager

Job Summary

Assisting in the management of projects for the Department of War, the full-time hybrid Deputy Project Manager will ensure project scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk, and stakeholder expectations are met while leading planning and execution of embedded software projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of embedded software projects in compliance with model-based Digital Engineering practices
• Manage scope, budget, schedule, and risk reporting, communicating program status to upper management and stakeholders
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including status reports, risk registers, and technical requirement specifications

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited College or University in an applicable field of study
• A minimum of five years of experience in business, finance, sourcing, cross-functional teaming, and/or project management
• PMP and/or PMI-ACP Certification (Highly Recommended)
• GCIA Interface Framework experience (Highly Recommended)
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Secret Security Clearance, if required
