Design Assistant (Intimates, Swim)
Job Summary
Detail-oriented and organized, the part-time Design Assistant (Intimates, Swim) will support the design team by creating production-ready tech packs, managing linesheets, and maintaining material standards, working hybrid in New York City for up to 20 hours per week.
Key responsibilities
- Turn approved designs into accurate tech packs, ensuring completeness before submission for review
- Maintain and update linesheets with current styles, colorways, and vendor information
- Support material management by organizing resources and assisting in BOM updates post-fittings
Required qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in apparel design or product development, preferably in intimates
- Working knowledge of bra construction and related components
- Experience building and maintaining tech packs and BOMs
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and strong skills in Excel or Google Sheets
- Familiarity with PLM systems is a plus
