Design Consultant

Job Summary

Serving as a primary point of contact for design oversight, the full-time Design Consultant will manage external design consultants and ensure alignment with client objectives, project budgets, and quality standards while working remotely across the USA.

Key responsibilities:

• Managing the performance of external design consultants, including architects and engineers, throughout the project lifecycle
• Ensuring compliance of design deliverables with client branding, functional requirements, and sustainability goals through design reviews
• Facilitating the value engineering process and coordinating between stakeholders to resolve complex technical challenges

Required qualifications:

• B.A. or B.F.A. in Interior Design or B.A. or M.A. in Architecture from an accredited program
• NCIDQ certification or architectural registration preferred
• 1 to 5 years of experience in commercial project design, construction, or project management
• Proficiency in Adobe Suite, AutoCAD, and Revit
• Strong understanding of building codes and industry-standard procurement processes
