Design Engineer 2 - Electronic Security

Job Summary

To support complex electronic security projects, the full-time salaried Design Engineer 2 - Electronic Security will manage the design project life cycle, from initial concepts to detailed construction drawings, while collaborating with clients and internal teams in a virtual environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop specifications, designs, budgets, and timelines for electronic security solutions
• Provide technical expertise and coordinate information for architecture and installation of systems
• Research and recommend technology options while maintaining client partnerships throughout the project lifecycle

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in technical systems designing
• Ability to obtain a government-issued Top Secret Clearance (US-based only)
• Associates degree or equivalent experience required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Proficient in AutoCAD, BIM, and MS Office 365
• Clear understanding of project phases and the construction process
