Design Engineer
Job Summary
Combining design and coding skills, the full-time remote Design Engineer will create and ship polished product UI, build landing pages, and utilize AI tools to enhance design and development processes.
Key responsibilities
- Design and build landing page sections and product UI directly in code
- Utilize AI tools to generate and iterate on design concepts and front-end code
- Collaborate with senior designers and engineers to support product improvements and new initiatives
Required qualifications
- Strong portfolio demonstrating shipped work, including real websites or prototypes
- Fluency with AI-native creation and proficiency in front-end development (HTML/CSS/JS, React, or similar)
- Strong visual and UI fundamentals, including typography, layout, and web UX
- Ability to create polished brand materials using AI tools
- 1-3 years of relevant experience with a focus on portfolio strength over formal team experience
