Design Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a Mid-Level Design Engineer for a full-time remote position, the successful candidate will build product prototypes, enhance user experience through design refinement, and participate in collaborative project scoping to drive innovative solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities
- Code production-ready prototypes and modular front-end components for user-facing features
- Identify and redesign key features to improve visual appeal and user experience
- Engage in project kickoffs to propose visual directions and champion performance and accessibility standards
Required qualifications
- 4+ years of experience as a Frontend or Design Engineer
- Proficient in React, Next.js, and TypeScript
- Strong knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2) and performance metrics (Core Web Vitals, Lighthouse)
- Experience with advanced CSS techniques and Tailwind
- Ability to obtain or currently hold a Secret or Top Secret U.S. security clearance
