Design Engineer III

Job Summary

Supporting product development and validation, the full-time salaried Design Engineer III will manage multiple projects, contribute to long-term product strategy, and provide technical assistance for Sales and Customer Service teams while working onsite in Jasper, Alabama with potential for a hybrid schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop embedded applications and electronic sensing systems to support product innovation in the heavy-duty truck industry
• Create and manage project timelines and budgets for concurrent development initiatives while communicating project status and challenges
• Maintain engineering documentation and provide technical support to cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with quality management systems

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a closely related field
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a professional engineering role, preferably in product development
• Proficiency in Solid Modeling (Pro-E Creo preferred), FEA analysis, and 3D printing technologies
• Experience with embedded applications and electrical sensor systems
• Creative and innovative thinker with strong analytical skills
