Design Manager

Job Summary

Providing operational and people leadership, the full-time remote Design Manager will manage the flow of design work across the portfolio, coordinate intake, assess priorities, and develop talent while adapting to evolving AI-native product development practices.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Design organization, ensuring appropriate staffing and prioritization of tasks
• Lead, mentor, and develop design team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and collaboration
• Build strong cross-functional relationships with Product and Engineering teams to enhance design integration in product development

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Design or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of professional experience in UX Design, Product Design, or Interaction Design
• Experience leading and mentoring designers or creative professionals
• Strong understanding of user-centered design practices and operational management skills
• Demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships across cross-functional teams
