Job Summary
Supporting engineers with layout drawings, the full-time Designer IV will utilize computer-aided drafting software to create and modify components and Bill of Materials (BOM) while collaborating cross-functionally and ensuring adherence to Oshkosh standards, with a preference for on-site work in Oshkosh, WI, though remote options are available.
Key responsibilities
- Utilize GD&T practices to update drawings based on engineering markups and ensure accuracy through reviews with senior engineers
- Create 3D and 2D layouts of parts and assemblies using computer-aided drafting systems with limited guidance
- Prepare medium complexity Change Notice (CN) documents and manage BOM revisions in accordance with departmental procedures
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent with two (2) years of experience in design
- Experience and/or training in GD&T
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Proficiency in using standard Windows Office tools and CAD software
- Eligibility for internal placement requiring panel review and approval by management
