Desktop Claims Investigator

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Desktop Claims Investigator will investigate and evaluate potentially fraudulent claims, conduct complex claim investigations, and prepare detailed reports while maintaining communication with various divisions.

Key responsibilities

• Investigates and evaluates potentially fraudulent claims using online sources and public records
• Conducts claim investigations to compile comprehensive profiles for defense strategies
• Prepares investigation reports and maintains individual diaries with minimal late files

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3 years of related experience
• Proficiency in using Internet search engines and social media platforms
• General knowledge of Lexis Nexis sites, TLO, and Boolean search methods
• 1-2 years of desktop investigations experience preferred
• Strong reporting skills and ability to maintain quality assurance for investigation reports
