Job Summary
To enhance IT service stability, the full-time Desktop Support Engineer will manage hardware and software troubleshooting, provide network support, and drive the Problem Management process while working remotely from anywhere in the US.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals, while providing Smart Hands and Feet support for networking hardware
- Install and troubleshoot desktop applications and operating systems, offering desk-side support and PC break/fix services
- Troubleshoot basic LAN/WAN connectivity issues and apply networking concepts using diagnostic tools
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- 6 years of relevant experience in desktop support and IT service management
- Basic understanding of ITIL processes, including Incident, Change, and Problem Management
- Proficiency in ticket handling and client-specific procedures
- Strong troubleshooting and deductive reasoning abilities
