Job Summary
To support a growing security function, the full-time remote Detection Engineer will develop and maintain detection logic across various log sources, assist in cyber forensic investigations, and optimize telemetry collection processes.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, tune, document, and maintain detection logic for endpoint, cloud, container, and SaaS products
- Assist in cyber forensic investigations utilizing a variety of log sources
- Design and build SOAR playbooks and automation workflows to enhance detection triage and response actions
Required qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in detection engineering, incident response, or offensive security roles
- Experience with one or more public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Deep understanding of attacker TTPs in modern zero trust environments
- Proficient understanding of macOS internals and relevant telemetry
- Experience implementing detection-as-code workflows, including CI/CD deployment pipelines
