Job Summary
Championing Factory's technology within the open-source community, the full-time remote Developer Advocate will engage developers, organize events, and create technical content to enhance understanding and adoption of Factory's platform.
Key responsibilities
- Contribute to external projects and showcase how Factory's technology can improve software development practices
- Develop relationships with stakeholders in the open-source ecosystem and technology partners to foster collaborations
- Plan and execute events for developers, including hackathons and workshops, to demonstrate Factory's capabilities and gather feedback
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in software development or developer relations, particularly with open-source communities
- Proven experience in organizing successful developer-centric events and strong project management skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills for building relationships with developers and partners
- Familiarity with trends in AI, machine learning, and software development tools
- Creative thinker with the ability to translate technical discussions into engaging narratives
