Job Summary
Focused on energizing the developer community, the full-time remote Developer Advocate will manage community programs, run hands-on events, and create engaging content while collaborating with product and engineering teams.
Key responsibilities
- Build and execute a community growth plan across various platforms, enhancing membership and participation
- Design and deliver workshops and events that guide developers in utilizing YugabyteDB and related technologies
- Create and produce educational content, including demos, tutorials, and webinars that support community engagement
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in developer relations, advocacy, or community management
- Proven track record of growing online developer communities on platforms like Slack or Discord
- Experience in planning and executing in-person events such as meetups or hackathons
- Hands-on technical skills with SQL and Postgres, including building demos and sample applications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
