Job Summary
Leading the developer relations strategy, the full-time Developer Relations Manager will grow and engage the Mapbox developer community, manage a high-performing team, and create educational programs while working in a hybrid/remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Own and evolve the Developer Relations strategy to enhance developer engagement and advocacy
- Lead and coach a team, providing clear priorities and opportunities for professional growth
- Develop scalable programs that educate and engage developers through various channels, including technical content and community events
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in Developer Relations, Developer Advocacy, or related technical fields, including 3+ years in a leadership role
- Proven ability to build and execute Developer Relations strategies aligned with company priorities
- Technical background with strong understanding of APIs, SDKs, and software development workflows
- Experience in creating and delivering engaging technical content, such as talks, workshops, and documentation
- Strong cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across various teams
