Developer Success Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Developer Success Engineer will diagnose and resolve technical issues for customers using Prefect and Dagster products, while contributing to documentation and tooling to improve future customer interactions.
Key responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues across Prefect and Dagster installations and integrations
- Take accountability for root causes within the product's domain and communicate effectively with customers
- File reproducible product issues and identify recurring failure patterns to inform Engineering and Product teams
Required qualifications
- Fluency in Python for reading and debugging code
- Hands-on experience with cloud environments and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes)
- Experience with workflow orchestrators like Prefect, Dagster, or Airflow
- A background in technical, customer-facing roles such as support or solutions engineering
- Strong written communication skills for explaining technical concepts to engineers
