DevOps Engineer
Job Summary
To support the VA.gov Platform's Infrastructure Services Team, the full-time remote DevOps Engineer will design, build, and operate cloud infrastructure, develop deployment automation, and enhance platform services for secure digital delivery to Veterans.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure supporting VA.gov Platform
- Develop reusable infrastructure modules and automation for multiple engineering teams
- Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions and Jenkins
Required qualifications
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3-5 years' experience as a DevOps Engineer
- Hands-on production experience with AWS as a primary cloud provider
- Experience deploying and operating Kubernetes (Amazon EKS or equivalent)
