Job Summary
Supporting mission requirements remotely, the part-time DevOps Engineer will create and maintain Kubernetes configurations, implement secrets management strategies, and integrate CI/CD pipelines to enhance data interoperability and analytics for a DoD customer.
Key responsibilities
- Create and maintain environment-specific Kubernetes configuration packages, ensuring STIG-aligned hardening and RBAC policy enforcement
- Implement and manage secrets injection strategies using FedRAMP-compliant tools to support automated deployment pipelines
- Integrate CI/CD pipelines for secure, automated deployment and rollback of ArcGIS components and related services
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or five years of equivalent experience in DevOps engineering
- Knowledge and capability to design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines and automate infrastructure management
- Proficient in container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker) and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible)
- Strong understanding of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and security best practices
- Experience in deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters and implementing secure, high-availability CI/CD pipelines
